Here at LbT-languages we are
constantly looking for new and enjoyable
ways to turn the English
language into a trusted friend
for you. It is our aim
that English becomes a language you wish
to embrace, like a well-fitting
coat that you would wear
on a cold winter’s day, such as the ones we
will be facing now that the seasons have changed once more
and snow and ice are knocking
on our door again.
So we have come up with
yet another new learning tool, and one that we hope you will all
enjoy: welcome to the the official LbT-newsletter!
Inside, you
will find interesting stories, even interviews with noted
personalities, self-study tips, and plenty
of new vocabulary. For your convenience,
all the articles have been graded
according to the learning level of our students. For beginners,
translations of new vocabulary have
been added, whereas
more advanced levels will
find their new words explained
to them through English-language definitions, synonyms and antonyms.
We plan to have one LbT-newsletter every three months for now.
Since Christmas is just around
the corner, in this issue
you will find helpful tips on how to write Christmas cards to
your clients and friends in the Anglophone world, as well as an
interesting article about how Christmas is celebrated abroad.
Those of you who have been to our courses know that we always
strive to
fulfil your desires when it comes to language learning,
be it through fun and interesting courses or through selecting
only the most highly qualified trainers. This is your newsletter,
written by us for your enjoyment. We
would welcome your feedback, especially
if you have suggestions
and ideas as to what you
would like to see in future
issues.
For now, I hope you will have
a wonderful time reading and working with this issue of our newsletter.
With best wishes from everyone here at LbT-languages
