What did the big tomato say to the little tomato? – Catch Up! (i.e. Tomato Ketchup)

Catch up is one of many phrasal verbs in English. It can mean any of the following things:

  1. To move fast enough to attain the same progress as another.
    The losing horse caught up to the winning horse right before the end of the race.
  2. To become equal with another.
    Suzi finally caught up in height with her older sister.
  3. To make an activity or task current.
    I need to catch up on my emails after being on holiday.
  4. To bring (another) up to date.
    Let me catch (you) up on all the gossip you’ve missed recently.

Do you have a co-worker that's planning to be out of the office over the Easter holidays? In honour of April Fool's why not:

  • Cover their entire workspace with post-it notes, cling film, newspaper or even aluminium foil?
  • Wrap hundreds of rubber bands around their telephone?
  • Fill their cubcle with balloons or packaging foam?
  • Change around the keys on their keyboard?
  • Put their calculator in Jell-O?
  • Put toothpaste on the telephone receiver?
  • Hook all of their paper clips together?
  • Put a piece of tape over the laser sensor on their computer mouse?
