DASH FUTURE

Everything that will happen. – I will be working

To start the animation, point the cursor on the person, such as „You“!

From top to bottom you can build your sentences. From bottom to top you can build your questions. For statements, always begin with the personal pronoun „I-you-he-she-it-we-you or they“. Include “will” for the future tense plus its siamese twin (the form “to be” – in this case, “be”) and, finally, the action that you require in its basic form with the “ing” ending added. Only after that can you complete the sentence with place and time.
(
place always comes before time – P before T).

I will be working in Munich today.

With questions, you begin from the bottom up. If, for instance, you would like to use the question word “why”, begin with this word, then include “will” to indicate the future tense. Finally, the personal pronoun, the “be”, the desired action verb. If necessary, include place then time. If you do not require a question word, simply leave it out and continue building the sentence as just described.

(Why) will you be working in Munich today?

Note:  „he-she-it-they“ can be replaced by proper nouns such as a first name instead of „he“ or a place such as „The shop“ instead of „it“.

The shop will be opening today.

1. Note for Advanced Speakers: „will“ can be replaced by „am going to, are going to und is going to“. The difference between the “will” and the “going to” form is usually that “will” expresses a spontaneous action and “going to” a planned one.
